Limb Light

Early this morning, we saw 6, maybe 7, Whitetail Deer browsing across the river.

It's been a bright, brilliant, beautiful, brisk weekend.

If I live a long life and have the luxury of reflecting back on special moments, I will think of sunlight on Sycamore limbs against a rich blue sky.

That is WAY neat, Jain! I'd love to be able to get up, walk outside and see deer. They're just a wee bit uncommon here in the big city...

And isn't it amazing how bare trees feel like something waiting, like something lurks just below the surface? I guess many think winter is barren and stark; I think it looks like a promise waiting to be fulfilled. You captured that quite nicely!

I love the image of the deer across the river. With the lighting, it looks like an impressionist painting. Evocative!

Lovely pictures, as ever. The white tail deer picture look like it comes right from a fairy tail.
