This is one of the prettiest weeks of the year. . .

Striped Maple leaves


Toadshade Trillium


emerging Large-flowered Trillium

. . . all the prettier because it won't last long.

Lovely examples of spring flowers, Jain. I love the angle of the Trillium in the last photo.
We start work on the fence tomorrow...there will be some fidgeting being done! :)

The color of the toadshade trillium is so rich. It just draws me in.

Jason, the toadshades appeared where we'd never seen them before. It was a treat to come upon them in the woods.
