Hi Jain...I am amazed that these animals cross where I would fall through they are way trusting..not like me!!lol It is cold today hasn't gone above 12 degrees..yesterday it was 38 !! Keep warm... Grace
Hi Grace, It doesn't really show in this picture, but the deer walked out a couple of meters, then came back. I wonder if it's a matter of trust, or if they somehow intuit what's safe and what's not. The temps have been up and down and up and down here, too! It's a crazy Winter so far. Thank you for your faithful visits, even though I haven't had much energy to be responsive lately. Hugs, Jain
Lows were in the teens this week and the pond froze enough to support White-tailed Deer.
Ice is forming upstream, but next week will be warmer and it might be a while before anyone walks on the river.
