I believe that is a critter! :)
I have often captured something and not know it...once it was a minature orange snail.

Scribe, do you have neither? The Solomon's Seal popped up on its own. We have several species, I think, and I should get out my guides and do a thorough inventory one day. The Spiderwort is store-bought but groovy nonetheless.

Not that I've seen so far. But like the iris of last week, you never know. And I could easily miss something such as Solomon's Seal among all the bankside greenery.

Hey, you ought to try and key them down one of these days. You might amaze yourself with what you have there.
