Black Rocks

Black Rocks at Presque Isle Park were formed by lava over a billion years ago (I've also read two billion but the number is mind boggling either way).

The water is achingly blue, crystal clear, and cold.

Lake Superior was calm today.

Carnivorous Butterworts grow on the protected edge of this pool in the Spring.
