Rain and Frost

Rain fell Wednesday and Thursday. We needed it badly.
The river is up. It looks big and new to us.

We never know what high water will bring.
We have a new log to admire.

The first cold snap of the season feels so bitter. Umm, I mean invigorating! It was 19F (-7C) this morning.
Frost on a log

Morning light slays me.

Third quarter Moon with Ashleaf Maple keys

I didn't know my point-n-shoot could capture the Moon's craters.
Cool!

Glad you got some rain. I envy you that. We've been too dry--really hit and miss, mostly miss. I know most don't enjoy the cold weather, but I was happy for it because at least now it feels like late autumn instead of summer.

Yes, we got lots of rain In Xenia. I don't like rain on the holidays, though, since I need to walk through the woods and wear off some calories. Hope you had lots of good food.
